Hi Sharon

to place any .gif file first save your .gif to you hard drive. (you can find them all over the web, or even better do a google search for "downloadable .gif files" there are various sites where you can get em for free.

So either download one, or right click on one, and choose "save as" making sure you note which folder on your hard drive you are saving too.

Then come here, open your profile by clicking on "settings" above.

Click "Upload message avatar" then click "Browse"  this will allow you to navigate to the folder and the pic that you previously saved to your hard drive.

Select it, and click, open or ok. you will be brought back here and will see the path something like this, in the window. "c:/My documents/my pictures/avatar.gif "

Thats it.......your done...now just back out of your profile and he will appear in your next message.

Chris, can you load both a .gif and a .jpg photo together or is it one or the other?
