Location: Kingston, WA | . On August 13th, I shared the following in an update letter:
" . . . it is important for me to share that on this coming Monday, August 16th, we will have the keys to the new property and we can begin making it fully functional for our use. This will involve building and installing shelving and cabinets for storage, purchasing and installing storm doors, purchasing window shades for the west-facing windows, installing an additional interior door to close off Paul's office area, and the installation of an elevator and backup generator. In addition, it will involve moving expenses and hiring people to help with various stages of the construction as well as the move."
Immediately after that letter, contributions ceased almost completely and a state of limbo occurred in which none of the above has been completed and most of it has not even begun. Paul and Susan, having moved smaller items to the new residence, are experiencing the untenable position of being neither "here" nor "there," and having had to cancel any further work in preparing the new house for occupancy has been solemn cause for doing the two-step and asking, "What is the truth, here? What needs to be known?"
The answer is: The need needs to be known. Let the need be known because everyone has assumed that the movement has been continuing, when it has not.
Today everyone's support is still truly needed. Today is the day that Paul and Susan are experiencing "Pause" instead of "Play." Today is the day the workers need to be rehired and for the work to recommence. Today is the day your support will be meaningful, and today it will be gratefully received and put to use to complete the work and make the move. Last, but not least, today is the day in which incredible gratitude is being felt for the outpouring of love and support given by all of you since this movement began.
