What is the point of this meeting?

Dear friends,

In order to gift your brother with healing, you must provide him with a better perception of himself than that which he is presently embodying. And in order to do that, you must be willing to abandon whatever perception you are currently holding about him.

Healing involves the experience of a “measuring stick” not present in, and not available to, the ego frame of reference, and therefore healing amounts to a gift which neither one of you has the personal capacity to give to yourself or each other. Yet, healing occurs. And its occurrence demonstrates that when you are willing to release him from your current concept of him in order to let the Truth of him be revealed to you, the revelation constitutes an act/experience of Love which transcends the best concepts either of you have about him . . . transforming him, and you as well.

This is not “positive thinking.” It is beyond thought. It is not metaphysical “treatment” of sin, disease and death. It is the uncovering of Vision in which God’s Allness and God’s Love discloses no sin, disease and death to be treated, and your brother says, “I’m healed.”

Healing is the evidence of someone standing in receipt of another’s willingness to see innocence beyond where guilt holds reign, exoneration beyond where justice called for punishment, because Love was invited to reveal the Truth of him.

Often Love impels you to extend to him what you cannot so graciously give to yourself, and in the revelation you discover that the Truth of him is true of you, as well. No one can get beyond the reach of Love’s sweet healing touch. No one can stand accused of such atrocities that someone’s willingness to see his innocence cannot reveal God’s Will has not been thwarted—and that there is no “crime” which calls for suffering or death.

Begin today to find small ways to see your brother through the eyes of innocence, that his might be revealed to you and heal him . . . and you as well.

PAUL: Good morning, Raj. I will let you lead the way.

RAJ: Thank you, Paul.

PAUL: Actually, can we talk about the Not-Knowing Place? That’s where I am.

RAJ: All right. And I know that you don’t like it. How can you be responsible, respectable, and judged innocent, if you “don’t know” what you need to know?

PAUL: Right on!

RAJ: Why even open up your mouth if you are liable to expose your inadequacy? And yet you know you have to . . . open up your mouth, that is.

PAUL: But why, after all these years, is not-Knowing a concern. After all, it has always been the place where I speak from in Gatherings, and speak from in private conversations with you. Instead of immobilizing me, it has been the place from which movement has arisen.

RAJ: Indeed. There are two reasons. One is that you think you know what we ought to be talking about . . . and we aren’t. And the second is that you are afraid that the truth is that there isn’t an answer to it . . . and you don’t want to hear that.

You know what, Paul? You aren’t responsible for resolving this situation regarding the repayment of the lien on the house. You aren’t personally being called upon to be equal to the demand. You, independently, can’t start with the problem and arrive at (be) the answer. It’s the Father’s Love which is the Answer equal to the problem, and you must start with Him.

However, in this one respect you ARE the answer: If it was your decision to get a divorce from the Father . . . unexpectedly disinheriting yourself from His gift of Himself to you as your Identity . . . then the restoration of your Birthright lies in your laying down the shield you have been holding up between Him and yourself. And as I’ve said, doing this is not an exercise of power which the Son of God can bring to bear upon the situation by learning that he is a Son of God, but rather the actual exercise of setting aside the so-called “power” to be at odds with Him, which he has not only fooled himself into believing that he has, but further . . . that the Father gave it to him!

I am teaching something extremely important to everyone who would follow me Home! As I said, “In my Father’s house are many mansions. I go before you to prepare a place for you.” It is not happenstance that this issue centers around “home,” and is being dealt with in this way. “I go before you.” “Paul and Susan go before you.” All of us together—those who hear my Voice—“go before the rest of the Brotherhood” who are still sleeping “on a grassy knoll in the middle of the Kingdom of Heaven.” And we are all preparing a place by not letting Home be misperceived as a commodity to be earned.

Did I say, “In my Father’s house are many mansions?” Not just studio apartments? Not places where one can settle for less? Did I say, “Work hard, save your money, because I go before you to prepare a place for you to buy?” Yes! Yes! Yes! And NO! 

Did I say, “I have come here to prepare you to be worthy of a mansion?” No! I taught that “Now are we the Sons of God. And it doth not yet appear what we shall be. But we know that when we see him, we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him, purifieth himself daily, even as he is pure.”

Of course “it doth not yet appear what we shall be!” Now are we the Sons of God! That is what’s appearing! And here I am, telling you that a shift of perception, a miracle, is present! Home cannot be earned. Commerce was not an appropriate context to put “that which is for embracing and nurturing family” (another word for Brotherhood), just as transaction is an inappropriate context for the exchange of the Father’s Love which heals, transforms, and brings us Home by means of the Holy Spirit, me, and every Awakened and Awakening Brother!

Do you see? The reasons for doing things, and the ways of doing them, change. Love finds expression through “random acts of kindness,” not calculated acts fulfilling mutually agreed upon patterns of behavior which, if practiced, are rewarded. You see? Love is not “good manners.”

Does that mean that a “spiritually advanced” person will begin to dishonor contracts? No. It means that one will keep his Brother whole through some form of Love. And it means that everyone will begin to go within, into the holy instant and accomplish what has always met the human need through some other means than commerce, profit-taking, and transactional behavior!

Many will say, “How will we do that?” Indeed! How will you? You will do it by giving your attention to how it will be done, instead of using the question to justify not bothering! You will do it by watching Paul “preparing a place”—awkwardly persisting in being in the uncomfortable position of finding a way to experience being Whole without it being accomplished through contracts (even if there are still existing contracts), or through laws, justice, binding transaction . . . and the use of force (another word for “threat&rdquo.

For perspective, just remember that you do not want me to meet you at the Pearly Gates, asking for a financial statement, list of assets and capacity to support yourself, contribute to the economy and make the KOH (as it’s called) a thriving enterprise. I would hate to have to send you back across the border because you would be a drain on the system.

You are already a full-fledged citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven—an experience of the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. And it doth appear what you Are. The Benefactor’s mansion (Home), Paul’s and Susan’s mansion (Home) and yours are here to be experienced. You need to expect to see them, for yourselves and for each other. Reach for them, for reasons other than you thought, and give them to each other!

Oh, yes! Needs will be met. And everyone will find that Love is far more generous than commercialism because It cares—because It’s Love!

It’s true! “There IS another way to look at this.” It’s time to dare to do it!
